Landon Donovan

In his first year of Major League Soccer, Landon Donovan has quickly become my favorite player. He played 22 games, and started 17. He also had 7 goals, one of them in the championship match. But the most amazing thing about Donovan is that he is only 19 years old!!!

Diego Serna

Diego Serna, like Landon played in 22 games in the 2001 season. He started every game and scored 15 goals. He also ahd 15 assists. Clearly Diego is a major force on the field, and is one of Miami's key goal scorers. He often made decisive shots. Three of his goals were game winners, and seven of his assists won the game for Miami.
